Mervue Gastrofen in syringe is an adjuvant in case of gastric ulcer in horses.
Gastrofen contains mucilaginous red elm powder, used internally in horses to treat conditions such as diarrhea and gastric ulcer and as a post-treatment for certain types of colic. It soothes and protects inflamed tissues, promoting healing, reducing the risk of injury, and promoting the elimination of toxins and irritants.
Red elm bark is universally recognized as safe and effective and can be used in horses of all ages, from foals to seniors.
Instructions for use: administer 80ml per day divided into 40ml before the morning ration and 40ml before the evening ration. Administer for at least 14 days or for a prolonged period according to the recommendations of the veterinarian.
Note: Make sure that fresh drinking water is always available. In horses with gastric ulcer it is also good to administer the Mervue Probio Equine, which favored digestion and the health of the gastrointestinal system.
